TradeSource
Digital Infrastructure for Global Trade
Tokenizing real-world trade documents into legally enforceable digital assets to secure, finance, and accelerate cross-border commerce.

What is TradeSource?
TradeSource is a digital trade infrastructure platform that converts warehouse receipt certificates (WRCs) into secure, traceable, and legally enforceable digital assets.
By combining blockchain, electronic signatures, and compliant trade documentation, TradeSource enables producers, traders, and buyers to transact physical goods with enhanced trust, transparency, and liquidity.
The platform bridges traditional commodity trade with next-generation digital rails — unlocking faster settlement, inventory financing, and cross-border accessibility for SMEs.
- 100% transparent transactions
- Instant asset liquidity
- Simplified fractional trading
- Borderless trade access
- Smart contract security
Solving Global Trade Challenges with Web3
International trade — particularly across emerging markets — remains constrained by fragmented documentation, limited trust, and restricted access to financing.
TradeSource addresses five systemic barriers:
1. Trust & Counterparty Risk
Multi-layered intermediaries, opaque processes, and document fraud increase transaction risk and costs.
2. Limited SME Market Access
Small and mid-size exporters struggle to access global buyers and structured trade finance.
3. Illiquid Inventory
Stored commodities remain financially dormant until delivery or settlement.
4. Paper-Based Documentation
Manual warehouse receipts and certificates are vulnerable to loss, fraud, and disputes.
5. Lack of Digital Trade Infrastructure
Existing blockchain ecosystems focus on digital assets — not real-world trade documentation.

A Compliant Digital Layer for Physical Trade
TradeSource digitizes warehouse receipts into blockchain-secured digital titles embedding
-
Verified warehouse data
-
Inspection & certification records
-
Electronic signatures & timestamps
-
Cryptographic document hashes
-
Smart-contract execution logic
Each tokenized receipt represents legal ownership of stored goods and can be transferred, financed, or redeemed for delivery.
This creates a programmable trade document — enabling automated settlement, collateralization, and real-time traceability.
Problems TradeSource Solves
1. Lack of Trust in Cross-Border Trade
- Problem: International trade involves complex layers of intermediaries (brokers, banks, logistics firms), creating mistrust, delays, and high costs.
- Solution: TradeSource uses on-chain proof-of-ownership (WRC NFTs) and smart contracts to eliminate intermediaries and ensure secure, trustless transactions.
2. Inaccessibility of Global Trade for Small Players
- Problem: SMEs and individual investors are often excluded from global trade due to:
- High entry barriers
- Capital requirements
- Lack of transparency
- Solution: TradeSource tokenizes physical goods into NFTs, allowing fractional participation, easier access, and borderless trading for small businesses and retail investors.
3. No Liquidity in Traditional Trade Assets
- Problem: Physical goods (like rice, edible oils, fertilizers, etc.) in storage can’t easily be traded until delivery or payment terms are cleared. This locks up capital.
- Solution: With WRC NFTs, these goods become immediately tradable digital assets. Sellers can liquidate inventory early.
4. Opaque Trade Documentation & Tracking
- Problem: Paper-based or siloed systems lead to fraud, document tampering, and disputes over delivery, condition, or title.
- Solution: All trade documents, certificates, and inspections are stored on-chain, tamper-proof and fully traceable from warehouse to wallet.
5. No Native Web3 Trade Infrastructure
- Problem: Current DeFi and NFT ecosystems mostly focus on digital-native assets (crypto, art, games), ignoring real-world trade.
- Solution: TradeSource brings real-world value to the blockchain by building a marketplace where real goods are tokenized, traded, and delivered using Web3 rails.
How the TradeSource Platform Works
TradeSource is a decentralized infrastructure where real-world goods are tokenized as WRC NFTs. Suppliers list these NFTs with verified data, and buyers purchase them using crypto. Each NFT represents ownership of physical assets like rice or oil, secured by blockchain technology and smart contracts.
Buyers can redeem their goods for delivery A transaction fee is applied, fairly split between buyer and seller. This model ensures liquidity and keeps value circulating within the ecosystem.

Tokenization of Goods
Suppliers mint WRC NFTs that represent specific quantities of real-world goods (e.g. containers of rice, barrels of oil, etc.).
Delivery
Buyers can redeem the goods (triggering delivery).
Marketplace Listing
NFTs are listed for sale or trade on the TradeSource platform, with full metadata, provenance, and inspection data.
Buyer Purchase
Buyers acquire the WRC NFTs using crypto (ETH, USDC, etc.)—owning the physical asset tied to the NFT.
Revenue Capture and Distribution
Each transaction incurs a transaction fee, split equally between buyer and seller.
